Just hung up the phone with Meagan in Billy Black's office. No power  - thanks Irene -but she did let me know that she is almost finished editing and compiling photos from PBR1. I will post a link to the site as soon as I get it.

Keeping it Local

I met with Josh Gamage of Maine Coastal Catering on Wednesday to go over the menus for the weekend. Yummy Yummy!

Thursday night's dinner sets the tenor of supporting our local farms and farmstands.

Tents, Caterers, Fireworks and Band Booked for PBR!

Build it and they will come! It was walk-through week for the PBR's land-based festivities. Mackenzie took me through the layout for Thursday nights barbeque at Lyman-Morse. What an incredible facility! And the view - even though it was about 40 and blowing, it was not hard to imagine Thursday night's Welcome BBQ.  Shuttles from Rockland Harbor will bring participants to LM to enjoy tours of the yard, a fabulous buffet dinner and a fantastic fireworks display over the St. George River will kick the weekend off in style.

Letting the Cat Out of the Bag

Today is March 17th and the Penobscot Bay Rendezous is about to go public. Business cards, hand outs, posters are all in the  back of my car ready to head south to Portland Maine for the Maine Boat Builders Show.
