Keeping it Local

I met with Josh Gamage of Maine Coastal Catering on Wednesday to go over the menus for the weekend. Yummy Yummy!

Thursday night's dinner sets the tenor of supporting our local farms and farmstands.

Stationary Hors d oeuvres
– Local Oysters on the half-shell, ½ mignonette, ½  chili sauce.
– Local Goat Cheese, pickles, and Crudite with Crostini
– Maine Crab and Cucumber Cups 
 
Dinner Menu
– Local Greens and Heirloom Tomatoes, Fiore Olive Oil & Balsamic, Sea Salt       
– Beth’s Farm Roasted Corn Salad
– Roasted Sweet and Red Potato Salad
– Grilled  Garlic Lemon Herb Chicken
– Local Beef Skewers and Peppers
– Salmon Roulades with Herb Gremolata
– Assorted Breads
 
Dessert 
– Maine Strawberry Shortcake

Friday night, guests will be hosted at the Camden Yacht Club by our area's greatest hostesses - Bettina Doulton, owner of Cellardoor Winery and Lani Temple of Megunticook Market.

 

Saturday, we will gather at Wayfarer Marine for a great night - a private viewing of Isobel
