We look forward to seeing you this summer!
There are two ways you can sign up for the Rendezvous.
This year we have signed up with Regatta Management Solutions. Regattaman will provide online race registration, party signups, scoring & other management functions to PBR.
For those familiar with Regattaman go right ahead and REGISTER
For those new to Regattaman registration here are some steps to smooth out the registration process. Penobscot Bay Rendezvous is in the Gulf of Maine Region or GMORA.
Step 1: Find Your Data
If you are new to Regattaman please fill out your name and boat name - hit Search and you will be taken to Step 2.
Step 2: Create a New Entry.
Fill out information and click on Next
Step 3: Boat Info
Fill out information about your vessel. You have the option to add your boat type if it does not appear. The next screen will ask for your rating. Powerboaters fill out your boat type and go on to Step 4.
Please note: The sailboat races are open to all yachts that have a, 2014 PHRF-NE certificate, NEMA certificate or that conform to one design class rules. Boats without a valid PHRF-NE will be given a base handicap from the list at www.phrfne.org. The Race Officer strongly recommends all yacht owners to join the Gulf of Maine Ocean Racing Association http://www.gmora.org/ For a mere $50 dollars you support a local sailing community and more importantly get a far better rating than the base rating. Better ratings make for better results.
If you know your rating fill it in. If not you can apply for a rating as explained above or you can ignore this and our Race Committee will assign you a rating. Please do not let the language on Regattaman get to you. We will make sure that the hard core sailors and their crew are all sorted out. We really want to encourage all sailors to participate regardless of their experience. The spirit of PBR is fun weekend on the water.
Sailors, a NO FLEET designation even if you entered your rating etc means you need to renew your PHRF certificate.
Step 4 and 5 Regatta Entry
